Ankit Kumar Dabra
 

Ankit Dabra is a patient advocate who formerly worked as a healthcare worker. Ankit started working as a patient safety advocate after spending more than two years at the hospital and witnessing avoidable harm in the radiology and dialysis departments. He envisions a society in which no one is harmed. Currently working as a Manager-Projects at the Patient Academy for Innovation and Research and building an Asia-Pacific Patient Safety Network comprising patient safety champions across the Asia-Pacific region.

He is a member of the WHO's Global Patient Safety Network and the Nationwide Quality of Care Network. He created and launched the successful Patient Safety #Call-To-Action and #UniteForPatientSafety campaigns. He received his master’s degree in hospital and healthcare administration from the International Institute of Health Management Research in New Delhi and earned Harvard University's PH555x: Improving Global Health: Focusing on Quality and Safety.
