Dr. Jill Majeski is a pediatric psychologist with the Supportive and Palliative Care and Trauma Programs at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She completed her residency in Pediatric Psychology at Cleveland Clinic Children’s focusing on behavioral treatment for chronic pain, headaches, and gastrointestinal conditions and her fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, focusing on hematology/oncology, palliative care and pain. 

Currently, she provides trauma-informed care for children with a broad range of life-altering and life-limiting medical conditions and traumatic injuries. This includes support with medical coping, adjustment to changes associated with illness and injury, non-pharmacological management of pain and symptoms, shared decision-making, and bereavement support.  

She is an active member of the Ethics Committee within her institution in which she focuses on providing ethically responsible care and increasing awareness and discussions around clinical ethics in the pediatric healthcare setting. She holds a co-chair position for Member at Large in Communications for the Palliative Care and End-of-Life Special Interest Group with the Society of Pediatric Psychology. She has special interest in the development and implementation of psychosocial programs for children and adolescents affected by serious medical conditions.
